i downloaded the newest version for testing from your website but cannot install it.
Installation ends with an error message and fails to install.
After starting the cab there is no question where to install it ( main memory or sd card ), this seems to be the problem.

My device is a MD96700 (MIO A210) with WM5

You are right
Elecont Launcher 1.0.165 does not work on WM 5.0.
We fixed it in version 1.0.167. Download and install latest version.
Before install new version - uninstall old version and restart phone.

I love this particular launcher app compared to the others I've seen, however, it don't think Elecont Launcher 1.0.167 is compatible with my Blackjack II. I downloaded version 1.0.165 first, and after the program installed, it never appeared on my homesreen, even after a reset. When I looked in Settings-Display-Homescreen, there were no "Elecont" names in any of the titles. I checked every single homescreen, and Elecont Launcher never appeared. I'm using WM 6.1. I can go into the program itself under the Start menu and customize my shortcuts, but that's ALL I can do. I uninstalled this version (1.0.165), then installed version 1.0.167, and - same exact issues. If this program is NOT compatible with the Samsung Blackjack II, it would be nice to know before I purchase the program.

I installed both versions of the software on my phone, and not my storage card. Am I missing something?

[aicirt17] Do you use Sliding panel on your Samsung Blackjack II?
Elecont Launcher does not compatible with Sliding panel. Sliding panel does not open for integration. Only Elecont Weather from our softwware is compatible with Sliding panel.
Touch Start->Setting->Home screen->Home screen layout. What do you see?
1. Select something else from Sliding panel.
2. Uninstall Elecont Launcher
3. Restart smartphone
4. Install Elecont Launcher again

No, not working. Like I already posted, I have tried every home screen layout (Windows Simple, Windows Default, Large Font, Windows Basic, etc.) and Elecont Launcher does not show up on any of them. By the way, the Samsung Blackjack II is a non-touch screen, but the Handango website claims that it is still compatible.

1.If you change Start->Setting->Home screen->Home screen layout then Elecont LAucher will not visible. You should uninstall Elecont Launcher, restart smartphone and install Elecont Luncher again.

2. Please Click Start on smartphone. Do you see Elecont Launcher? Run it. Is it working?

3. Please run "File explorer" and open /Application data/Home.
Do you see any file with Elecont on part of name? Can you send me Windows Simple.xml file?

4.Please copy http://www.elecont.com/pocket/Launcher/fullelecnt3.home.xml to Application dataHome.
Click "Start->Setting->Home screen->Home screen layout" and select "Windows Default Elecont".
Do you see Elecont Launcher on Home now?

None of my .xml files in Application Data/Home have the word "Elecont" in the file name.

I just re-installed the application, and still no home screen names with "Elecont" in them. I just downloaded your attached .xml file, and now I see only 1 home screen file with the name "Elecont" in it - Windows Default Elecont.

The launcher now shows up on my home screen - but here's the problem: now I have two rows of icons. The top row of icons is part of Windows Default home screen, and the bottom row of icons is, of course, Elecont Launcher. I hope this is why you requested the Windows Simple .xml file? Here you go . . .

Click "Start->Setting->Home screen->Home screen layout" and select "Windows Default NoIcon Elecont".

Be careful. Do not try to edit home.xml manually. Any error in this file will break your smartphone !!!

[aicirt17] Please send me your full.home.xml to weather@elecont.com. I need it for find reason of the error in Elecont Launcher installation.
